# Importing S5P files

Hi, I am new to python and coding in general, so excuse my beginners questions. 🙂  
I am working with S5P data, specifically CH4, and I don’t know how to open the files via HARP using the python interface. How do I open the files and get to the PRODUCT layer and the variables like **CH4\_column\_volume\_mixing\_ratio\_dry\_air**?
