Doas_cl v3.7.5 Produces 0KB .asc File with -c "config.xml" (Regression from v3.4)

After upgrading doas_cl from v3.4 to v3.7.5, I’m encountering a critical issue where the command:

doas_cl -c “config.xml”

fails to generate valid output. While this command works correctly in v3.4 (producing a non-empty .asc file), v3.7.5 creates a 0KB .asc file with no explicit errors. The same config.xml file is used in both versions.

I also want to konw how to store fit results（Residual data，analyse data，fit data，Residual curve，fit curve） in doas_cl.

Hi,

  • The easiest way to make doas_cl store fit results, is to edit the config file using the qdoas GUI (check “Analysis” in the “Output” tab of project properties, and save the configuration).

  • could you share your config file (ideally including auxiliary data such as cross sections, ras well as a reference and some input spectra, so I can test it myself) so I can investigate the issue? You can reach me at thomas.danckaert@aeronomie.be .
